The Hay International Literary Festival was held for the first-time post-Pandemic but the level of attendees using the Car Park was reduced, we did however raise more than £6k.
The Club’s charitable support shows a severe drop but is anticipated to grow in the coming year. The Club has been working closely with the Brecon Food Bank and has introduced a voucher scheme to enable claimants to top-up with fresh produce through local retailers,
Like all Service Organisations membership is always an issue with recruitment of new members very difficult. Our membership has held up during the year but the age demographic is on an upward trend. If this continues then the viability of the Club in the coming years will become difficult unless there is an upturn in membership to enable us to continue to support the Community.
