TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN JOURNALISM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BY SUPPORTING TRAINEE JOURNALISTS BY MEANS OF GRANTS, BURSARIES, LECTURES, CONFERENCES AND OTHER TRAINING EVENTS.IN THIS CLAUSE “TRAINEE JOURNALIST” MEANS YOUNG PEOPLE STUDYING TO BECOME JOURNALISTS OR SERVING AS INTERNS WITH A RECOGNISED PUBLICATION.
