## **MORETONHAMPSTEAD SWIMMING POOL TRUST CIO ANNUAL REPORT 2021** 

Following the forced closure of the swimming pool in 2020 due to Covid 19 restrictions, the 2021 season has been very challenging both physically and financially. The priority was to open for business, albeit still subject to restrictions. The small team of trustees and volunteers were stretched to capacity keeping the pool functioning in very unusual circumstances. Consequently there was no available time to pick up on and address the outstanding issue of transferring the assets from the existing charitable trust to the CIO. The two charitable entities continue to run alongside each other but the intention is to close the old trust just as soon as the CIO is fully up and running with all property and financial matters in place.
