C Objectives and activities
The objects of the charity set out in its governing document are:
“For the relief of poverty with particular emphasis on homelessness anywhere in the world”.
Love Link UK (LLUK) has carried out activities in supporting and helping the homeless in the UK get housing and promote disability awareness. In carrying out these activities the charity trustees have had regard to the charity commission’s public benefit guides to meet with the ‘public benefit requirement’. In doing this, decisions are made to identify and mange risks of harm to the charity’s beneficiaries or to the public in general. We have only succeeded in opening a bank account for LLUK in 2020 to raise funds for the public benefit. LLUK had no bank account and no receipts and payments for 20182019.
We have worked with other UK charities (Shelter, Opportunity through clude within this Education) by supporting them and have made donations. statutory that trustees have to the guidance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
LLUK has successfully improved the quality of life of the vulnerable and homeless in the UK by supporting them directly and indirectly and advocating for them to get the help they need. Such help ranges from accommodation to other essentials for everyday living.
We have helped with the relief of poverty, disability awareness and homelessness (suitable and appropriate housing) and followed up specific cases to ensure that necessary positive changes required were achieved.
Examples are we have continued to work with the charity ‘Shelter’, by supporting them financially and collaborating with then where we encountered cases of homelessness or needs regarding accommodation.
We supported a family in Guildford financially, where a mother, Hannah was struggling with the loss of her new born baby D, that she continued to keep up with her home and having her necessities. Also, financial support was provided for the baby’s funeral arrangements by Love Link UK.
Outside the UK we supported Harry Kinnunen, a referral who was about to be homeless Finland and prevented him from losing his home. Outside the UK we have supported Sarah Gachugi in Kenya with her work to conduct feeding programs for food distribution to the poor.
Outside the UK we have also aided Stefan Per De Freitas from Denmark financially, with his Charity work in Uganda that supports medical aid and food provision for the needy.
We financially supported ‘Let hope Arise Africa’ an education and leadership charity in Uganda by collaborating with David J Leeper a Trustee of the UK charity ‘Educate 2 Live’.
