Section D Achievements and erformance p

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

LLUK has successfully improved the quality of life of the vulnerable and homeless in the UK by supporting them directly and indirectly and advocating for them to get housing.

We have supported the homeless indirectly by making regular monthly donations to Shelter, a UK charity that aids housing/ homelessness.

We have helped with disability awareness and the relief of poverty and homelessness (suitable and appropriate housing) and followed up specific cases to ensure that necessary positive changes required were achieved. For the relief of poverty, we helped a struggling family of a single mother/ daughter to pay their energy bills and gave vouchers for food/ shopping. We have supported and advocated for the homeless, for example in the Godalming area, communicating with Waverly Borough Council. We have communicated with the people living on the street in Guildford and Godalming to ask them if they needed help in being transitioned to housing.

Outside the UK we supported Franca Memorial Clinic Port Harcourt with funds to obtain an incubator/ maintain their incubator unit.
