## **Blankets for Baby Rhinos Trustee annual report 2024:**

Fundraising continues using Givey as our UK platform Facebook Donate who now pays through Paypal ,Paypal donate and through our shop (Paypal). We also accept direct donations into our UK CAF bank account. Paypal donate has enabled us to acquire monthly recurring donations which we are encouraging.

We have been transferring funds direct to our beneficiaries via international transfer.

We have kept our gambling licence so we can legally hold raffles.

BFBR continues to be a successful charity having won the leopard award for the fifth year running from SAN parks honorary rangers for our contribution to their project watchdog.

We have continued to support our long standing beneficiaries such as Care For Wild, SANParks k-9 unit, Umoya Khulula Wildlife Centre , and African wildlife vets as South African beneficiaries.

We continue to work with the AWARE trust Zimbabwe sponsoring supplies for their rangers and ranger of the month award.

Transport of blankets and other items have been greatly helped by our collaboration with KLM charity Wings for animals who fly items for us on a regular basis.

Our Emergency fund for the SANParks k-9s was put to good use, when we paid for Scent a long standing APU dog to have surgery on her knee. She as made a good recovery and is back to light duties.

The African Wildlife Vets emergency fund has been used for snare removals, dehorning of rhinos, relocation and collaring of leopards and lions.

We have donated funds for support of the equine mounted unit of Care for Wild as well as support for the rhino orphans there and at TRO.

Elisa has been given donations of medical supplies for wounds (Cutimed dressings and Prontosan) for use on injured rhino orphans.

Linda Grave has been instrumental in providing football kit for the rangers of Kruger Park, their families and the local communities.

Elizabeth Conroy continues to run our online shop as well as doing local market and Tombola. We also receive regular donations from Beverly who regularly does boot fairs.

Liz Brown continues to run her online craft shop Creations for rhinos where all profits are donated to BFBR.

We are very pleased with how the charity is running with both fundraising and now resumed transport of blankets and other goods via volunteers to South Africa and Zimbabwe
