## **Blankets for Baby Rhinos Trustee annual report:**

There have been no changes to our current trustees.

Fundraising continues using Givey as our UK platform Facebook Donate,Paypal donate and through our shop (Paypal). Paypal donate has enabled us to acquire monthly recurring donations which we are encouraging.

Our South African donation platform (Back a Buddy) has not been used and we have encouraged SA members to donate via one of the above platforms.

We have been transferring funds direct to our beneficiaries via international transfer.

We have kept our gambling licence so we can legally hold raffles.

BFBR continues to be a successful charity having won the leopard award for the third year running from SAN parks honorary rangers for our contribution to their project watchdog.

We have continued to support our long standing beneficiaries such as Care For Wild, SANparks k-9 unit, we have also added the SA wildlife college, Umoya Khulula Wildlife Centre and African wildlife vets as beneficiaries. We continue to work with the AWARE trust Zimbabwe sponsoring supplies for their rangers and ranger of the month award and will be assisting them in obtaining a K-9 for their operations.

Elisa Best our founder was able to visit both the SANparks K9 unit and Care for wild in October 2022 and was able to discuss first hand the needs of both organisations as well as see the effects of our support. We intend to offer more support to the K9 rangers in Kruger Park who have a very dangerous and stressful job. We hope to obtain more support especially from corporate organisations by speaking to them and educating them on the situation in South Africa currently.

We are very pleased with how the charity is running with both fundraising and now resumed transport of blankets and other goods via volunteers to South Africa and Zimbabwe
