Achievements and performance
Summary ofthe main
achievements of the charity
during the year
This year the operats.ons of the club have finally retumed back to nomial
operations after Covid and all events can be held. The Swim night is the
only event which we have chosen for the time being not to continue. All
the major fundraising events went ahead this year and were very
successfijl most events eaming well. with an additional event for the
coronation. The book sales at the local stations and the book shop have
continued and are doing well. The club is continuing to do well with new
members. wen￿Sla￿S has now been re-designated as WOW (wami
over winter) which continues to glow wth more grants to local residents
and families provided this year as the fuel crisis continues. These are
limited to a maximum of £200 per year per household. A Revolut card
was opened in February to aid with these payments a5 BAC'S payments

The club has sUf￿lent fvnds to continue grant making
Section E
Financial review
The CIO as a grant making organisation attempts to provide as many
grants as possible throughout the year, wth the aim of keeping a
minimum of reserves. The level of these reserves would normally be kept
to around £15000 in its charity fvnd. This tskes into account that there is
currently funds ring fenced for various activities, with £6000 reserved for
Health awareness activities with further ring fencing of £5000 for
provision of holidays for families in need or with a disability where a
holiday would not normally be possible.
Brief statement of the
charity's policy on reserves
The admin account is kept at a value through-OLrt the year in order that it
may meet its commitments, where the main commitment is lo pay its
dues to the Lions organisation. This is ensured by having membership
dues set at a level to be able to meet this commitrnent.
The 200 Club is maintained at a level to meel its commiknents which is
mainly to provide prizes 4 times a year. The level of prizes are
detemiined by the number of members in the 200 club and only surplus
funds are used tr) make grants.
There is no overdraft faalty in place in any accounts so there is no
possibilty of being overdrawn.
Details of any funds materially
in deficit
No funds are in defi(#t
