A new board of trustees was formally established in November 2024, following a period of
limited govern¢Jnce activity. Thi5 report reflects a year of transition, governance restoration and
the receipt of restricted groni funding to support educational provision.
Structure. Governance and Management
The Bevington Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation governed by it5 constitution
adopted on 2q August 2018.
DLLring the reporting year governance arrange￿entS were reinstated through the appointment of
a new trustee board in NoveTnber 2024. The trustees began Implementing system5 to ensure
compliance with statutory duties ond strengthen oversight. Actions included..
Re establishing trustee oversight and decision making
Introducing record keeping protoco15 and scheduling governance meetings

Reviewing regulatory ond reporting obligations
Strengthening banking oversight and controls over restricted funds
Objectives and Activities
The charity's object Is the advancement of education for tKe beneflt of pupils of Bevington PriTnary
School and the surrounding comTnunity.
During the year the charlty received restricted funding to support a Reading Intervention
Programme. Following the formation of the new trustee board work commenced to ensure
appropriate governance, accountability and delivery planning SO that the funding can achieve it5
intended educotional outcomes.
Public Beneflt
The trustees confirm that they have had regard to Charity Commission guidance on public
benefit. The charity'5 funding and planned activities aim to improve literacy outcomes,
educatlonal acces5 and wellbein9 for children within the Bevington Primary School communtty.

The restricted funds were not expended during the year and are carried forword for the intended
purpose in the next financial year. No trustees received payments or expenses. All transactions
took place within the UK.
Reserves Policy
A formal reserves policy is currently being developed by the new trustee board. At 31 Marc
2025 unrestricted reserves totalled £18,546. Trustee5 will determine an appropriate reserve level
to 5upporr operational stability.
Risk Management
Following trustee appointment work began to ntroduce a structured risk management
framework. Priority areas include financial controls, safeguarding oversight and governance
compliance to ensure effective manageTnent of charitable funds and activities.

basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charrties Act 2011
{"the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515)Ibl of the Act.
