A new board of trustees was formally esrabllshed In November 2024, following a period of
limited governance activity. This report has been compiled to reflect a transitionol year, with
financial and administrative efforts underway to brin9 the charity into full compliance.
Structure, Governance and Management
The Bevington Trust 15 a Charitable Incorporated Organi5ation (CIO), governed by its
constitution adopted on 2q A￿gUSt 2018. The new trustee board, established in November
2024, has begun implementing necessary system5 for governance, finance, and compliance.
Initial actions have irlcluded the introductiorL of record_keeping protocols, board ffteeting
scheduling, and review of the charity's legal and regulatory obligations.

Objectives and Activities
The primary objective of the Bevington Trust is the advancement of education, particularly by
supporting pupils at Bevin9ton Primary School and its wider COmTnunity through torgeted
programmes, funding, and enrichment opportLLnities.
During the financial year 2023-24, the charity remained dormant in terms of formal programme
delivery. However, foundational work began behind the scenes, focusing on rebuilding the
governance 5trLLCture and exploring future opportunities for grant application5 and partner5hip5.
The teom began assessing community rleeds and outlwin9 future plans to support pupil
wellbeing, family engagement, and social inclu510n.
P￿bliC Benefit
While the charity did not carry OLLt active charitable programmes during 2023-24, the work to
re-e5tablisFL governonce and accountability has laid the groundwork for fLLture public benefit. All
planned activities remain aligned with the Choriry Commission's guidance on charitable purposes
and public benefit.
Achievements and Performance
In a tronsitional year, the most Slgnificant achievement was the successful formation of a new
trustee board in November 2024. This marked a pivotal moment in reactivating the Bevington
Trust's potential. Early-stage audits, complionce cFLecks, and operational planning began in
preparation for a full relaunch in 2024-25.

A formal reserves policy was iiot in place durin9 2023_24. The newly established board hos
made this a priority area for development, ensurin9 long-term 5U5tainability of future projects.
Risk Management
No formal risk management franiework existed during the reporting year. As of November 2024,
the new trustee5 have begun work on establishing robust financial, operational, and
safeguarding policies to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, and monitored moving forward.
