Flnancial Report
2024 was again a challenging yeai for the Parlsh, tmth grvlng do4%m approxlmately £4.000 on
2023. Once again, the Youth Theatre workshop made a large contribulmin to church funds of
approximately £2.500.
We have continued lo keep a tigm rein on the budget and have made ends meet. We pald
100 % towards our Parish Share after woliating a new lower figure viilh the Diocese due to
the interregnurn.
During the year we contlnued to have additional costs due to the ongoing repairs to damage
caused by Ihe theft of lead from the Vestry gutter. Afthough most costs were met from the
insurers the church made a contrlbuticffi to the cost of new boilers as a fitsl step in the
Project 2020 revorder of the church. Propct 2020 has very much taken a back seat with only
a limited Increase In funds as fundraisir*J adivities continuè to be a challenge.
Through good financial fflanagement, the Paiish has Tamained Viab￿ onco wJaiTr this year,
and we wlll continue lo work on the principle of a balanced budget whilst we work on
recovery fr(Mn the COVID pandemic, aThJ the witerregnum. We wll strive to meet our
commilrnents at the highest level it is possible to achieve whilst p￿se[vIng a reasonable
operating b￿&t.
Sadly, for a fourth year running we have not recovered Ihe thl of giving pre-COVID. and
this continues to have a knock-on effect to our ability lo meet all our commitments.
Signrficant increases in energy costs have also had an impact on our budget.
Despite the challenges Ihat 2024 presented to us all, Holy Trinity has weathered the
P8ndemic and interregnum reasonably *hell. but must focus on recovery and grovl(h. Holy
Trinity continues to deperKI on its memb￿$ for supwrt. both practical and monetary, for its
continued existence and outreach to the communty.
Thank you to all who support the Parish in all your vatiOU5 ways: your generous giving of
time and money is greally valued.

Fabrlc
Our thanks go to the small team who regularty clean the burfding. Our thanks must also go lo
those who helped us bmth the work of clearing the Vestry. Even th0￿h we had to
unfortunately put everything in Chancel. All this was a C￿tInuation of the amount of
water damage that C￿￿rred vthen the lead was taken of the roof Ihe yeaT l*fore. The
replacement of the W0￿en floor we are told wll be earfy in the New Year. Thankfijlly these
costs were cover&l by insuran￿. Durry this peri(xl w8 had lo install a movable Altar to
assist with our Services. Thanks must go to our Brothers and Sisters in Christ for the support
they 50 freely gave. An offer of f￿]ng rthv toilets has been forthcoming but we are waiting for
an archite￿ to fuffil the necessary application for a faculty, this is akso reason that we
have not been able to replace the w1nd0b￿ that so badly need replacing. Some repair work
has also had to be carried out on Ihe toilet. Another cO￿8M Is that ￿ tiles from th8 orlglnal
sanctuary going bath to 1820 have V￿th age started to become vnstuck. this prOb￿rn we are
golng to have to look Into at some date dunng next year. We also have had to have the
Chancel lighting repaired due to not being ab￿ to sort the probkni ourselves.
Wornhlp
