**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE OF MUSIC FOR PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED IN SUCH WAYS ASTHE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:-1. CREATING INTERACTIVE PROJECTS TO INSPIRE AND ENHANCE LIVES;2. PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS AND EDUCATORS FOR THE PURPOSES OF EDUCATION, PERFORMANCE AND COMPOSITION;3. MENTORING AND SPONSORSHIP SCHEMES TO ENABLE YOUNG PEOPLE TO FULFIL THEIR POTENTIAL; AND4. DIRECT ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF MONETARY GRANTS AND SUBSIDIES.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].

**Activities:** To promote the education & performance of music for people under the age of 25 who are socially/economically disadvantaged - for example through:1. the creation of interactive projects 2. the provision of professional musicians & educators 3. mentoring schemes to enable young people to fulfil their potential 4. the provision of direct assistance in the form of grants & subsidies.
