Para 1.20 | Taken on and trained several new coaches to Level 2 Coach Qualification A number of coaches now have Land Training qualifciations. Mentored several swimmers as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award Seen a marked increase in the number of members joining. Increased expenditure on advertising and social media exposure. Supported and paid for additional officials through the incremental training pathways, with numerous successes. Arranged awards ceremonies and increased social events for swimmers and parents. Purchase of new flags and equipment for galas / competitions. Extended pooltime to the club training calendar Provided free to attend County Qualifier sessions for swimmers attending LASA County Age Groups Numerous swimmers being selected to swim as part of the elite pathway at City of Leicester. Successful at a recent awards ceremony hosted by Swim England in recognition of club staff and volunteers. Operating at 2 separate venues across the region to enable swimmers from mixed demographic and geographic backgrounds the opportunity to swim at club level. |
