Capital Orchestra are an 85-piece jazz and pop orchestra devoted to forwarding the direction of music, by bringing together audiences from the classical, jazz, and popular genres, to create a united forum for all audiences to be exposed to the range of music being innovated. This is done by emphasising important aspects of music at each event, and collaboration with established and rising artists.
Objects: To Advance The Art Of Popular And Classical Music In The UK For The Public Benefit By Contributing To The Development Of Popular Music Culture In The UK, Providing Mutual Opportunity To Both Orchestra And Audience And Leading In Breaking Stereotypes Within Classical Music By Using The Same Instruments In A Different Musical Context, Lead By Musicians Of 18+, Furthering A More Approachable Culture Surrounding Both The Classical And Popular Genres By Lessening The Divide Between The Genres And Their Respective Audiences.
