The Declaration of Trust requires at least six trustees, three of who are appointed to serve for three years, by annual election of one replacement Trustee each year. The other three are ex officio officers recommended by the Lions Club of Truro, who may or may not change i.e. President Secretary and Treasurer. All trustees are members of the Lions Club of Truro.

A Grants and Awards committee investigate requests and then make proposals to Club members. Grants are only awarded with the approval of a majority of members.

Truro Lions maintain current accounts to facilitate the administration of the Club and the associated Fund raising activities. There is no investment activity.
Members of Truro Lions contribute their time in support of the Club’s activities; both fund raising and service. There is no requirement for financial contributions other than personal choice.

The working accounts are managed to ensure they do not over draw and that they remain able to meet demands placed upon then. For example the Equipment account maintains a sufficient balance to meet repair and replacement costs.
