Slow Shopping's aims are to relieve people in the UK & overseas who live with mental &/or physical disabilities by the provision of training and other support services to enable them to shop, visit or attend a variety of settings in order to enhance their experience by maintaining and developing their independence, confidence and dignity. It also collaborates in research in this field.

Objects: The Objects of the Charity are:a) to relieve people in need in the UK and overseas for the public benefit who live with mental and/or physical disabilities by:-the provision of training and other support services to enable them to shop, visit or attend a variety of settings in order to enhance their experience by maintaining and developing their independence, confidence and dignity; andb) advancing the education of the public by carrying out or collaborating in research into the benefits of providing training and other support services so as to add to the collective knowledge and understanding of people who suffer from mental and/or physical disabilities.
