Trustees annual report 2019-2020

The trustees were Katherine Miller,Carl Miller, Thomas Jones , Mary Osborne, Carys Meyrick and Katie Collins

During the year we had the building work completed which allowed us to run activities for the community within the building that now had better facilities and more accessible for everyone. We also received funding from Children in need along with the Baptist union of Wales and East Glamorgan association for us to be able to employ a part time youth worker to help with the activities and support we offer to the children and young people within the community.This has been a great help with the work that we do as volunteers of Hengoed Community Project as a lot of what we do it's the children and young people who are involved in majority of the activities and they really benefit from the the opportunities and support.

Unfortunately with Covid we had to stop the activities we were doing and spent time trying to still be able to engage and support the community within the covid guidelines.It was important to us to also help the people in the community to understand the importance of following covid guidelines and restrictions to help keep them safe and well.
