| Over the year we have delivered over 200 toiletry packs across many of |
| the childrens wards at QMC. We are delighted to have broadened our |
| support across more wards this year. Through the help of PASICs |
| Charity we have been able to reach more families and ensure our packs |
| are being dispatched whilst still maintaining distance due to the pandemic |
| and tightened measures at the hospital. We are told the packs are |
| extremely useful and we will continue to supply these upon request. |
| PASICS have also helped us to store a large quantity oftoys and gifts |
| which we agreed they can hand out on our behalf. We greatly appreciate | |||||
| their help with this. | |||||
| Again we were thrilled to offer our family's and working staff a Christmas |
| dinner on Christmas day. This has become somewhat ofa tradition for us |
| and we thoroughly enjoy being able to provide these along with extra |
| treats and gifts for families unable to enjoy Christmas at home |

This year we began a campaign which is extremely important to us all. We aim to fill a petition which will be sent to parliament in hopes to educate doctors further in spotting Papiliedema (swelling ofthe optic nerve) as we believe this is vital in aiding the early diagnosis of brain turn ours. |

We have now developed a website which will hopefully enhance our networking and publicity as well as give us a solid platform to keep our followers updated ancf informed with what we are doing, |
| benefit) | We have an extremely exciting project which isjust needing finalisation |
| which will provide us with an area within Queens Medical Centre to install |
| a garden/ nature sensory area on its grounds. This is something we have |
| been pushing for a while. We believe this will be a much valued and |
| extremely useful facility as there are currently no such areas available to |
| patients or their families. Confirmation is needed before some major |
| fundraising action begins to ensure this dream ofours becomes a reality. |
| We continue to work on the production ofour informative children's books |
| which will be given to families upon diagnosis or before procedures which |
| aims to explain to children in a more childlike manner about cancer, |
| procedures and machines. this is another important goal for us to |
| achieve. However given the sensitivity and need to be biologically correct |
| we are making sure all areas have been thoroughly checked by |
| professionals before publication which is proving to take some time. |

| Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year |
Our most useful contribution continues to be our toiletry and activity packs. We have donated hundreds this year and with the help ofPASICS charity who work more directly on the wards we have distributed them |
| across all children's wards and Billy's house, which houses families |
| receiving treatment from out of Nottingham as well as Leicester Hospital. |
| We have also ensured astock of gifts and activity equipment to be |
| distributed by PASICS to anybody these will benefit. |
| We added pamper products including bathrobes, slippers, eye masks |
| and aromatherapy oils to our toiletry deliveries in hope to relieve some |
| stress for parents and bring some relaxation onto the wards. |
| Delivering Christmas dinners to families unable to be at home and staff |
| working on Christmas day was another success. Over 60were delivered |
| again this year along with some extra treats and decorations to bring |
| some needed Christmas cheer. |
| We have concentrated on reaching some ofour most important goals this |
| year and were please to launch our campaign to ensure doctors are able |
| to spot papilledema on future patients presenting symptoms which may indicate a brain tumour. This we hope will decrease diagnosis time |
| further leading to faster and more effective treatment |
| We are also excited to have the opportunity to present a big idea of |
| building a garden/nature area on the grounds ofQueens Medical Centre |
| to provide patients, families and staff and outdoor area to enjoy when the |
| opportunity arises to escape the ward for 5minutes, to the chief |
| executive ofQMC. We are hoping we are given permission for this to go |
| ahead and are excited to make our dream reality in the form ofa beautiful |
| area ofescape from gruelling hospital life. |
