Activities
We serve the community by developing transcultural and trans generational activities such as Bollywood Dance classes, Vedic classes for children, religious (Puja) prayers, awareness programmes of Hindu heritage directed towards children and other communities. Annual Diwali and Holi Celebrations.In the COVID-19 scenario worked with elderly and vulnerable sections of the society.
Objects: 1) To Advance The Hindu Religion, In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of A Hindu Temple;2) To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Blackpool And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.3) The Promotion Of Religious Harmony For The Benefit Of The Public By:(a) Educating The Public In Different Religious Beliefs Including An Awareness Of Their Distinctive Features And Their Common Ground To Promote Good Relations Between Persons Of Different Faiths; And(b) Promoting Knowledge And Mutual Understanding And Respect Of The Beliefs And Practices Of Different Religious Faiths.
