SORP reference<br>Summary of the purposes of  Para 1.17  The charity works for the public benefit<br>the charity as set out in its  having as its objectives the<br>governing document  development and education of children<br>and young people, in particular by<br>promoting their education and parental<br>involvement, promotinh their health and<br>well being, and providing services to<br>support them and their parents/ carers.<br>Summary of the main  Para 1.17 and  The pre-school provides flexible (am,<br>1.19<br>activities in relation to those  pm or full day) educational sessions for<br>purposes for the public  children aged 2 to 5 years old, during<br>benefit, in particular, the  term time only. We believe in helping<br>activities, projects or  young people develop into confident<br>services identified in the  individuals by providing a wide range of<br>accounts.  practical and fun activities to inspire<br>them to investigate, explore, learn and<br>have fun.  Children are given the<br>opportunity to join Rugby tot sessions<br>and sing and sign. Policy on social investment<br>including program related<br>investment<br>All volunteers make time contributions<br>Para 1.38  to the pre-schoo joining in with<br>Contribution made by  fundraising activities, attending<br>volunteers  meetings ( online and in person) and<br>supporting staff running activities for<br>the children.<br>Volunteers currently consist of our chair<br>of committee that comes in to spend<br>time completing activities with the<br>children. |Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**Little Acorns Pre-school were visited by**<br>**ofsted in February 2022 where we**<br>**received a rating of good.  Prior to this**<br>**we received support from the local**<br>**authority to support us in achieving this**<br>**outcome.  After this outcome we no**<br>**longer required this support.**<br>**Numbers on roll were high and the**<br>**number of staff was increased to meet**<br>**the high demand.**<br>**We continue to have a large waiting list**<br>**for the next academic year.**<br>**We have a large number of SEN children**<br>**on roll and staff are continuingly taking**<br>**extra training in order to support all of**<br>**the children’s needs. We have employed**<br>**a new SEN practitioner to help support**<br>**the children that require extra support.**<br>**We continue to work closely with other**<br>**professionals and are regularly**<br>**recomemended by other professionals**<br>**supporting families of children with**<br>**SEND**|
