with the Charity Commission, governed by its Constitution. The CIO was registered on 9th
ALKJLSt 2018.
The Tru5t&s form the Managern￿t Comrnittee of the charity. Th￿e mLSt be at least
three tharity TruSt￿S. The maximum numbex of charity TrL￿￿ is 12. The members of
the Management committ￿ are dected at the Ann￿1 G￿eral Meeting and one third of
the charity Tru%tees retire at eth AGM. Retiring TrLStees are eligible for re-dection.
All members are ciralated with invitations to nominate Tr￿ee5 in advan￿ of the AGM.
There is a provision for the co-option of additional Trustees as long as the maximum
number of TrL￿t￿ has be￿1 reached.

the next Tr(st￿ meeting. Ow ffEmbers are then inforn￿l prior to the next AGM and
members are given the opport(mity to vote for them.
New TrLSt￿$ th￿ undergo indLLtion training provided by the other Trl6t￿ inclLKling
the attivitles, aims and obj￿tiveS of the tharity, the strLKture of the organlsatlon, general
procedures of the organihition. They are also provideyl with the Charity Commissions
'Roles and Responsibilities of Tnstees,, the Constitution, the latest statutory finanaal
statements, Annual Report, and finanaal reports provide£1 to Trustees.
Any additlonal training req￿red by the new TnEtees will be identified during indwtion,
and may be r￿￿ted at any point by ne*V and existing TrLStees, whwe it is considered
useftl to their role as Trust
The Tr￿eeS are responsible for the overall management and control of the Charlty.
Trust￿ are aware that any conflitt of interest is d&lar8J and minuted. The board meets
monthly.
The major risks to which the Charity is exposed, as Id￿tifi&l by the TrL&ees, have been
reviewed and systems have been establ1th￿ to mltigate those risks.

Objectives and Activities
The charity's objectives and prinapal attivities are the promotion of 9)clal indusion among
parents of children and young p8)ple with SEND (Speoal Ed￿atIonal Needs and
Disabilities) who are ￿jaalIY exdLklal from sooety, or parts of soaety, as a result of their
special &YLKational needs and disability by:
l. providing ed￿tion and information to support arKI ￿able parents to maximise
edLLltional opportunities for their children;
2. raising public awaren￿￿ of the is5￿ affecting families with thildren and young
P8Jple young people and families with SEND, both g￿erallY and in rdation to thelr
sooal exclusion.
3. providing workshopsi forLms and general support;
4. providing recreational facilities and opportunitie5 for families of thildren with SEND
to be integrat& into soaety.

Athievements and Performan
The majority of meetings with the LA, Health and Partners continue to be virtLo1 meetings
where we remain Committ￿ to representing the views of all parents and carers
experiences. The year ending 3 1st Marth 2023 has been an extremely b(6y one for the
forum largely dominated by Written StaterrEnt of Action (WSOA) following the Local Area
Ofsted Inspection:
Contlnuation of work on Steering Grow) reStr￿l￿e and S￿CeSsion planning wlth an
external consultant
The PCF worked alongslde a Contatt assodate on Str￿gthenlng relatlonships and c
produttion with partners as part of the findings following the Ofst&l Insfvion.
Workstream meetlngs attend￿ with the L4 and Health partners and ffonthly catch ups
with the new Director of S￿la115t Suv1￿ plLS weekly communication with the
communication and partnership manager.
Attendance at PCF Regional meetings and training.
The PCF met with the LA and stakeholders mnthly to feedbad( conwns of parents
which were turn￿ into 'You Said, We did. on the Local Offer.
The PCF were part of organising Holiday Activities for CYP able to ac￿5 HAF funding
and these were very SLKcessft1.
The PCF increas8J to membership of the "Collective vol￿ Group" for sharing
information, updates to seriices and gathering VI￿5. Secondly contact Increased with
individLk31 parents to offer information and signposting to appropriate servi￿.
Hdd In person "Coffee and Chat" wlons for ff￿nber$ to share experien￿ and
gather f￿bad( as well as supporting LA18J themed workshops.
Took part on interview panels for varloLS L4 senlorlexlxutive posts.
Two Steering group members attend "SEND developMp￿t and ImproVeM￿t &)ard"
and other relevant SEND workstream meetings.
The Administration Assistant b￿arne the Partiapation Co-ordinator for the PCF and a
new part time administrator was employed.
The PCF increasaj representation on the "newodiversiv workstreams developing the

Due to the current funding Str￿ture of the Charity whith mostly restrictgj funds. We do
not have a reserves policy at this tirrE. We will look at implementing a res￿VeS policy in

Independent Examiner
We appointed Phoenix AccoLntaw and &&'ness ConsLdtancy Limited, a tr￿ling
subsidiary of East Riding Vollntary Attion servi￿ (ERVAS) Ltd to carry out the
Independent Examination for the tharity for this accounting period. A resolution to
reappoint Phoenix Acco￿tanCY and &siness ConsLltanq will be proposed at the
forthcoming annual general meeting.
Statement of Trustees responsibilities
The TrL￿￿ are responsible for preparing a T￿￿t￿5, AnnLBI Report and Finanaal
Statements in accordan￿ with applicable law and unit￿ kn'ngdom Accounting Standards.
East Yorkshire Parent Carer FOr￿n has incorrE bdow £250,000 and has therefore el*ed
to prepare the finanaal statements on a Receipts and Payments basis in line with the
Charities Act 2011.
The Tr&%tees are responslble for keeplng prow accountlng records that dlsdose wlth
reasonable accurw at any time the finanaal position of the tharity. They are also
responsible for safeguarding the assets of the tharity and hen￿ tsking reasonable steps
for the prevention and detection of fraLKI and other irr8JLdaritie5.
