We are committed to: the relief of need in the community with a view to promoting social inclusion, the promotion of social cohesion by building relations and promoting mutual understanding, the promotion of equality and diversity, advancing education in the community, supporting Christian charities and charities with similar values by the provision of information, advice and support.

Objects: The Charity's Objects Are For The Benefit Of The Public By:(1) The Relief Of Need In The Community With A View To Promoting Social Inclusion For Those Excluded Or Marginalised From Society Because Of Social Or Economic Disadvantage; (2) The Promotion Of Social Cohesion For The Benefit Of The Public In Particular By:(a) Educating The Public In Christian And Other Religious Beliefs Including An Awareness Of Their Distinctive Features And Their Common Ground To Promote Good Relations Between Persons Of Different Faiths; (B) Promoting The Knowledge And Mutual Understanding And Respect Of The Beliefs And Practices Of Different Religious Faiths; (3) The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit In Particular By: (A) Promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgrounds; (B) Building Relations Between People From Different Backgrounds And Cultures; (C) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity; (4) To Enable Churches, Christian Organisations, Individuals And Community Groups To Influence And Shape Local And National, Social And Economic Policy Through Informed Individual And Collective Advocacy; (5) To Promote The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of Christian Charities And Charities With Similarly Based Values In The Furtherance Of Their Objects Or Any One Of Them, Mainly But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of Information, Advice, Support And Infrastructure Provision; And (6) The Furtherance Of Such Other Purposes As Are Exclusively Charitable Under The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees Shall From Time To Time Determine. These Objects Shall Be Primarily But Not Exclusively Undertaken Within The Diocese Of Leeds Or Such Other Geographical Area As The Trustees Shall From Time To Time Determine.
