**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL-TIME WORK BY ALL MEANS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.

**Activities:** We hold monthly meetings with a speaker, refreshments and plenty of interaction between our committee and members.  We run many different groups with a view to education and friendship.  At least ten outings are arranged each year to places of interest and one of our main aims is to provide a friendly meeting place for the local community.
