The Trustees have pleasure in presenting their Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 August
2025.
Strutturè, Governancè and Management
Charity ton5titLJted by a Trust Deed dated 21 July 2018. New trustees are appointed by exsistinÈ trustees.
Objertives and Artivities
The objects of the charity are to hold and apply the income and capital of the charity in making at the discretion of
the trustees grants to or for the relief and assistance of such of the beneficiaries who shall at any time be in
necessitous circumstances and in need of charitable relief and in such amounts at such times on such conditions Ilf
any) as the tru5tee5 shall in their absolute discretion think fit and any such 8rant may at the tru5tees' ab501ute
discretion be made by payment of such beneficiary and in the latter case the trustees shall be under no obligation to
see to the application of any money so paid. 'Beneficiaries' means any present or past members of the London
Philharmonic Orchestra together with any persons living in a family relationship with them including but not limited
to their spouses, civil partners. widows. widowers. children or other dependents who are in need or distress as the
trustees may In thelr absolute discreiion from time to time determine and beneficiary means any individual member
of this group of person
The Charity supports past and present members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra who are suffering hardship
through illness. injury or other reason approved by the Trustees. It also supports members who are unable to work
while ¢arin8 for a dependant as well as supportin8 maternity and paternity leave.
A¢hlevements and Performance
The charity has supported members who are unable to work in accordance with our objects. We have managed all
payments within our Reserves and are confident of continuing support in the foreseeable future.

In shaping our objectives for the year and planning our activities. the trustees confirm that they have referred to the
guidance contained in the Charity Commission's 8eneral 8uidance on public benefit and have complied with section
4 of the Charitie5 Act 2011

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 August
2025 which are set out on pages 6 to 7.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charitls trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
requirements of the Charities Act 20111.the Act'l.
