Activities
Wordfest helps the residents of Calne Community Area improve the quality of their lives, developing skills and social confidence as a result of improved literacy. We will raise funds to offer activities encouraging enjoyment and participation in literacy including, drama,groups, competitions, trails and courses. We work with local groups, statutory agencies, schools and pubs to support literacy.
Objects: The Advancement Of Education For The Benefit Of The Public By The Promotion Of The Spoken And Written Word Including; Community Development, Educational Courses, Special Interest Groups, Creative Events And Literary Activities, In Particular Through A Literacy Festival In The Calne Community Area, And Other Such Activities In The Furtherance Of The Objects As The Trustees Shall Determine
