## Overview
The Trustees present their report together with the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2021 . The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Charity Commission’s guidance on the preparation of accounts by charities with gross incomes of less than £25,000 and comply with the charity's governing document.
## Registration
The Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) no. 1179369 was formed on the 27 July 2018 and is governed by the conditions contained within its constitution.
## Address
The charity’s registered address is: The Abul Kalum and Tamanna Choudhury Foundation, 2 Ascott Avenue, London, W5 5QB.
## Trustees
At the start of the financial year, the charity’s trustees were:
Tahmid Chowdhury, Hafizur Choudhury, Shuhena Choudhury, Tasneem Choudhury, and Shumon Choudhury.
At the end of the financial year, the charity’s trustees were unchanged.
## Objects
As of the end of the financial year, the charity’s objects are:
1. To relieve those people in financial hardship living in Bangladesh, and elsewhere in the world as the trustees see fit, by providing such persons with goods and services which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means, especially through the provision of lawful medical services;
2. To relieve sickness and preserve health among people in Bangladesh, and elsewhere in the world as the trustees see fit; and
3. To advance such other charitable purposes as the trustees at their absolute discretion may from time to time determine.
## Structure, Governance, and Management
The charity is governed by its constitution.
## Financial Matters
As the charity did not formally operate during this period, no bank account has been established. The charity has generated no income and not committed to any expenditure during this financial year.
