||_Three Trustees represent a quorum. It is the usual practice for the_<br>_Trust to ask people to show an interest in becoming a Trustee at_<br>_all our public meetings. ||_The property is used for informal recreation, a meeting area or_<br>_place for community events. In order for the Millennium Green to_<br>_be available throughout the year, regular maintenance takes_<br>_place to ensure that the environment is not only safe but also_<br>_enjoyable. A significant part of the green's management is to_<br>_encourage wildlife by either carefully husbanding the_<br>_environment (e.g. Pond Filling from a bore hole) or leaving some_<br>_areas in a more natural state. The Green (and adjacent 23 acre_<br>_Woodland Trust wood) is particularly popular with walkers and_<br>_Dog walkers. Amenities have been provided for disabled access_<br>_which is another one of our key objectives._|

||_A great contribution is made by the volunteers and 'friends' of_<br>_the Millennium Green who donate time and money to enable_<br>_the upkeep and development of the Millennium Green to take_<br>_place. We are constantly grateful for the support. Without this_<br>_valuable contribution of time, money and energy we would not_<br>_have been able to achieve so much. Any surplus funds which are_<br>_not likely to be needed for upkeep or events are placed on_<br>_deposit as a contingency._|

||_Covid-19 had a big impact on the green both in elevated visitor_<br>_numbers and the in-ability to initially have workdays. Once it had_<br>_been established that workdays could continue, the usual_<br>_maintenance activities took place, such as grass cutting, fence_<br>_and hedge maintenance etc._<br>_In addition to these usual maintenance activities, the main_<br>_achievement for the year was the completion of the purchases_<br>_of 3 new (expansion) fields to the North of the Green and up to_<br>_Doxey brook._<br>_The expansion provides approximately 40% additional space and_<br>_a different wetland environment. With the purchase complete_<br>_the focus for the Trustees and volunteers has been on the new_<br>~~_ld  fll_~~|
||~~_an as oows:_~~|
||_* Secure boundaries by erecting fences, hedges and gates_<br>_* Plant trees and bushes in line with the overall site plan_<br>_* Install drainage to allow use all year round (when not flooded)_<br>_The trustees have been largely successful in the above with the_<br>_fields having their first harvest of hay._|

**Financial Review Details** _At the end of the 2020 calendar year the Trust held a balance of_ _**£14,877** . This year's closing balance is a_ _**decrease of £1,716** from 2019. This  decrease in funds is primarily due to the purchase of additional fields and the associated development costs.  Our main source of income is normally from small regular donations from villagers, usually through standing orders. Other income has sources have been through sponsorship of trees and seats, miscellaneous donations and from rent (wave leave) payments from Severn Trent Water. The majority of DMGT's costs are for maintenance activities and insurance._ **Statement of the charity's** _It is not the general policy to have a large reserve of money._ **policy on reserves** _Should there be a large surplus of funds, such as a bequeathment, the trustee would look to either purchase additional land or make improvement to the existing._ 

## **Section F - Future Activities** 

## **Future Plans** 

_The main focus for 2021 will be to prepare the new fields for opening to the general public while continuing to manage the original site in a sympathetic and effective manner._
