|purposes for the public||on 23 July 2018.Asdetailed in the|
|benefit, in particular, the||Trustees' AnnualReportforthe period to31|
|activities, projectsor||December 2019,aParish Nursewas|
|services identifiedinthe||employed from 4April2019, initially for five|
|accounts.||hoursaweek,but thenforseven and ahalf|
|||hours a week on a temporary but rolling|
|||basis.ln addition,ofher own volition, the|
|||Parish Nursealsoprovides someofher|
|||services onavoluntarybasis. The Trustees|
|||are extremely grateful totheParish Nurse|
|||for this.|
|||AsnotedintheTrustees'AnnualReportfor|
|||the period to31December 2019,theParish|
|||Nurse advised the Trustees (in a manner|
|||thatpreserved anonymity)thatmost|
|||interventions involve a mental health|
|||element, evenifthatwasnottheprimary|
|||reason fortheintervention. The Trustees|
|||undertook, therefore,tolook at the|
|||feasibility of employinga[\4entalHealth|
|||Nurse to start to address the needfor|
|||mental healthcareinthecommunity. The|
|||Trustees concludedthatadditional funding|
|||wouldbe required beforethesearch fora|
|||iMental Health Nurse commencedand|
|||Iapproachedanumber of organisations|
|||Isetting out their vision for an expanded|
|||iParishNurse service.|
|||Within days of securing some additional|
|||funding whollyorpartly for the employment|
|||ofaMental Health Nurse, thefirstCOVID-|
|||19lockdownstarled.TheTrusteeshad to|
|||postpone the search foraMental Health|
|||Nurse until restrictionswerereduced, at|
|||whichpointthepost was advertised.|
|||lnterviewstookplaceinSeptember2A2A|
|||and a suitable candidate,withsignificant|
|||mental health experience, was employed|
|||from9 November2A20.|
|||AstheMental Health Nurse'semployment|
|||commenced at the start ofthesecond|
|||COVID-19 lockdown,itwasnot possiblefor|
|||theMental Health Nursetoattend events at|
|||local churchestomeet local residents and|
|||explain the services that shewouldbeable|
|||to provide.lnitially, therefore,theMental|
|||Heatth Nurse andtheParish Nurse liaised|
|||closely by phone andvideocalls to|
|||understand eachother'sroles and to agree|
|||on effective and efficientworkingpractices|
|||to beput in place.TheMental Health|
|||Nurse's services wereadvertisedlocally as|





|||faraspossible and she was able to|

|||commenceworkby way of telephone calls|
|||towards the end of the year.|

|||anonymityofher clients and thespecific|
|||nature oftheinterventions,theParish|
|||Nurse has kept records that showthat,in|
|||the periodfrom1January2020to31|
|||December 2020,theParish Nurse made|
|||476interventions. These cover:|

|Long COVID, people scaredtocome outof|
|theirhomes, people who areonlyjustnow|
