**Objects:** TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SUCH OTHER SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE, IN THE SOUTH WEST OF ENGLAND, BY THE PROVISION OF A FREE FOOD COLLECTION SERVICE TO SAVE FOOD FROM GOING TO LANDFILL AND DISTRIBUTING THE FOOD WASTE TO CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS TO RELIEVE THE ABOVE NEEDS.

**Activities:** The South West Food Collective makes collections of surplus food from food suppliers, food retailers, and/or from the catering and events industries, and redistributes this food to local charitable organisations providing food to disadvantaged people. We work primarily in south-west England but our operations also extend across the southern UK.
