**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ('THE OBJECTS') ARE TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN, IN THE HISTORY AND WAY OF LIFE IN COLNE VALLEY (BETWEEN 1800 AND 1920); TO PROMOTE THE ARTS; AND TO CONSERVE AND PRESERVE ITEMS OF HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE BY THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.THE MUSEUM SHALL NOT BE USED FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES OTHER THAN EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN POLITICAL HISTORY. THERE SHALL NOT BE DISSEMINATION OF POLITICAL PROPAGANDA.

**Activities:** Four 19th Century weavers' cottages forming a 'living history' museum providing education for children and the wider public of life in the domestic wool textile industry in the valleys of West Yorkshire.  Live demonstrations and events; a changing programme of exhibitions on site; school visits; active outreach programme through covering West Yorkshire.
