||ln accordance with the objects of the Charity, the past underwritten viola<br>concerto from ANDERS HILLBORG received further performances in the<br>UK (October and November 2024, Scottish Chamber Orchestra) as part<br>of Nordic Music Days.<br>MAGNUS LINDBERG’s viola concerto received its UK premiere<br>(November 2024, Philharmonia Orchestra) and the viola concerto from<br>CASSANDRA MILLER was nominated for an Ivors Award.<br>Furthering the V10LA project, the charity’s aim to create ten new major<br>works for viola and orchestra by 2030, two new works by ERIKA FOX and<br>ANNA CLYNE were underwritten.<br>The charity held a crowdfunder to raise further funds for the VCC<br>Composer Prize, which was launched in May 2025.<br>The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity<br>Commission on public benefit.|

||The Scottish and UK premieres of the Anders Hillborg and Magnus<br>Lindberg viola concertos were given by Lawrence Power and the Scottish<br>Chamber Orchestra / Philharmonia Orchestra respectively, both achieved<br>critical acclaim.<br>The Lockdown Commissions continue to inspire young viola players<br>globally, with new performances of the works. In July 2025 the viola<br>concerto from ANDERS HILLBORG was performed by young violist Ionel<br>Ungureanu with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.<br>The VCC Composer Prize was launched in May 2025 searching for new<br>composers to write for viola in a chamber setting.|
