The Trustees met 4 times during 2023. Their role is for Governance, direction and emotional support

LSET moved back to some sense of normality in 2023. There was a generous legacy from the previous Chair – Peter Morgan
-
The Trustees have worked well together, but they are looking for new Trustees to join them, particularly when the current Trustees come to the end of their term of office.
Dave shared the Core Aims of LSET:
-
To advance the Christian religion …amongst young people of school age in Newton Heath and the surrounding areas by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of educational, physical and other activities as a means of:
-
advancing in life and helping young people to develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals;
-
advancing education;
-
providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need …with a view to improving the conditions of life.
