Homework Club
Restarted with a pilot in the summer term and properly from September. Numbers of families have been up and down but we have 6 regular families, 3 from the church and 3 from community, through connections on the Troydale Estate. We now welcome children from Nursery age and have acquired some funding to provide more age appropriate toys and games.
We have been slow on organising trips this year but we have one in the diary for this coming half term to Smithill’s Farm in Bolton.
We have four regular volunteers including Stuart who has proved invaluable in helping with Key Stage 3 Maths.
Manchester City Council awarded us a Neighbourhood Investment Fund grant of £1000 for games and resources including toys for younger children in Foundation Stage, a laptop to help with accessing online homework and £300 towards a summer Fun Day.

TLG Coaching
We have three coaches in All Saints school, two Year 6 children about to move on and one to start soon. Dave continues to coach in Coop Failsworth where he has also developed a good relationship with staff. (Quote RF/PC & DB)
School Activities (All Saints)
Lunchtime Games Club: Charis and I are getting to know a small group of children who are having fun learning new games which will help with various aspects of their development including memory, language, social and emotional skills.
Diary of a Disciple & It’s Your Move: Charis and I led two Transition Groups last summer with two small groups Year 6 children and I delivered a whole class workshop - which we will do again next half term. Mary and I will be delivering Diary of Disciple Workshop in June.
Groundbreakers Assemblies & Groundbreakers Lunch Club: children enjoyed learning about what it means to be a Christian at the 6 week lunch club.
Hannah helped with Experience Christmas and Easter at Heathfield Church
Open the Book
Not as regular as we would like. We delivered a training day in January. Unfortunately, with no new volunteers. It would be great to see the team expand and for Hannah to be supported by a deputy leader. Hannah and Mary supported Open the Book staff on their stand at the Diocesan RE Conference at Gorton Monastery in March.

Christmas event in Brookdale Park on 17th December went well, albeit a bit wet! With some craft and colouring, gave out lots of Bible Society Christmas books and flyers for Messy Church/Games Club & Homework Club

East Manchester Youth & Play Partnership (EMYPP). Hannah participated in events in October and February half terms - providing a board games zone. The partnership has just become a CIO and Hannah is now a trustee. The partnership provides opportunities for funding and training as well as sharing of resources amongst the various groups in the partnership - for example a bouncy castle for our fun day.

Relationships with local councillors continue to be positive.
