Trustees Annual Report for the period 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2025

The purpose of our charity. as set out in our governing document, is to relieve the needs of
children, young people and their families who are in need by reason of the cognitive disabilities of
ADHD. Autism, learning difficulties and social anxiety who reside in Bridgend and the surrounding
area. We achieve this through providing and / or assisting in the provision of facilities in the
interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of such children. young
people and families with the object of improving their condition of life.
Our main activities are a weekly technology club (Tech club), 4-5 events per week through the
school holidays). In addition, we support the parent carers who attend these activities with their
children through social gathering and relaxation opportunities.
Our charity is solely run by volunteers all of whom are parent carers.
During the year 2023-2024, our charty .
Maintained an ongoing relationship with our councils disabilty sports department and
Bridgend Inclusive Network Group.
Continued to run our W￿klY Tech club and events during school holidays for the families that
we support
Provided carers breaks for our members
Provided household packs and offered household items for sale at our club to support with
the cost of living crisis
Please see our submitted receipts and payments accounts for details of the amounts hdd at the
end of the period 2024/25. Although the submitted accounts show a deficit for the year this has
been covered by our holding reserves and we can confirm that our accounts remain in a positive,
credit position with over 6 months running costs held.
In relation to holding reserves. we aim to have 6 months worth of running costs (In our own
fundraising / unreserved funds) at any time. This ensures that we are able to continue running our
charity for a period of 6 months if we do not obtain grants.

Our governance document is a Constitution (Charitsble Incorporated Organisation).
Trustees are selected within our AGM. They must register interest through the completion of a
form stating why the want to become a Trustee and what skills and experience they would bring
to the charity. The current Trustees review all forms, discuss and vote on the applications before
communicating the decision/s made. Only the current Trustees are entitled to appoint new
Trustees.
