officially re-launched as Cambourne Town
in the summer of 2021 with a summer
tournament which was attended by over
100 teams from clubs across
Cambridgeshire and beyond.
The success of our first season is a
reflection of the effort and commitment that
the Club’s Management Committee has
shown over the last year to operate the
club. New volunteers joined the Committee
during the season who have
contributed greatly to our success.
The current size of the club comprises over
40 teams, with 720 registered players and

successfully continued Soccer School,
Wildcats and Goalkeeping coaching
provision; and set up a new disability
football session.

sessions.

by the club, new roll-on goals have been
purchased to enable us to offer 3 colts
pitches and therefore increase our capacity
to 18 pitches across grass and 3G.
New access has been made to enable
easier access from the grass pitches to the
sports pavilion and changing rooms/toilets.

The Club has grown its online presence. The Club’s Facebook posts have been seen 40,603 times with 3,682 visitors to our Facebook page, whereas there have been 11,000 users of Club website during the year. The Club attracted 12 new partners/sponsors during the year. The Club now has its own merchandise which first went on sale at the Club’s annual Trophy Day.
