The trusteespresenttheirreport alongwiththefinancialstatementsfortheyearended31March
2025.
Objectives andAims
TheobjectiveofFolkestoneAmateur BoxingClubistheprovision offacilitiesfor amateurboxingin
Folkestoneand thesurroundingareas.Thecharitypromotesparticipationof healthyrecreationwithin
thecommunityviatheprovisionof boxingforbothseniorandjuniorboxers.Thecharityhasprovided
positiverole modelsandaconstructiveoutletforyoungstersin alow-incomearea. Theprovisionof
boxingisavailabletoallthecommunityregardlessofrace,gender,religion,or background.
Thetrustees'have hadregardtotheguidanceissuedbyTheCharity Commissiononpublicbenefit.
Thecharityisrunbyvolunteerswhoprovideboxingcoaching.Withoutthesupportofthevolunteersthe
clubwouldnot beabletooperate.Intheyearended31" March2025there were eight volunteers
providingtheirtime[to][the][Folkestone][Amateur][Boxing][Club.]
Achievementsand Performance
Duringtheyearto31"March2025thecharityremainsintheirpemanentspace inF51SkateParkin
Folkestone.Thebuildingissharedwithotherlocalsportsfacilitieswithadedicatedareaspecificallyfor
a boxinggym.
Duringtheyearthenumber of boxershas fallenbuttherearenogoingconcernsovertheclubfuture
Therearecurrently8coaches[in][the][club.]
FinancialReview
There[are][no][uncertainties][regarding][the][charity]asa[ going][concern.]
Duringtheyearthe income[was][from][subscriptions, sponsorship,][and][a][small][amount][ of donations.]
Theprincipalsource of incomefor[the][charity]areusually [the][session][feesfrom][participants,]intheyear
to31March 2025thistotaled[£200][(2024]-£5,226).Somefundsareusually [also][raised][from][an]
annualshow.During[the][year]to31March2025 the[annual][show][didn't]takeplace.[Costs][relating]to
thistotaled £5,445[in][2024 and][ the][income][in][the][ same][ year][received]totaled£3,780.
