The trusteès have paid due regard to the Charlty Commission guidance on publlc benefit in
organising and managing the work of Ihe charity
The management, runnlng and hiring out of Wesl Parfey Memorial Hall for the benefit of the
cc¥nmunity
The charity fully took over the management of the hall from the old West Padey Memorfal Ha11
{chaTity number 301196) on 1 January 2019. The assets of the old tNst were passed to Ihls chafty
as shown on the accounts 51alements. Major repair works h8ve been (%rried out during 2024 to
restor8 the hall.
The perf0m￿nCe of the Gharity wlll be vastly reduced for the coming year 2025 due lo a fire that
1xcU￿e￿ on 16th January 2023. At the time of Ihe accounts the clairn was still currently in
resolution with the insurance company aThJ daim assessors. however work has been carried out to
repair some ereas. Due lo consid@ratrAe conversations with assessors the fixed asset valuations
have been revalued and shown in the accounts to refiect the true value for a complete rebulld cost
as idenffied by the tnsurÈrs and surveyors involved iti the recent fire damagè daim.
Wrth regard to the repairslre*Jrbishment. th8 Charity has been eXp￿Ined that there may be 8
shortfall so rnay well have lo seek funding. as costs for repairs have gone up three limes as much
dunng Ihe past year due to wcwld*ryde events outside of their control.

consider that an audit is nol required for this year under section 144{2) of the chari￿es Act 2011

present a 'tru8 and fair view, and the report is limited lo those matters sel out in the statement
below.
