**18,869**| Friends of Didsbury Park Registered Charity Number 1179064 ## **Trustees Annual Report** ## **Trustees:** The following trustees held office at the beginning of the financial year 2025 Chair: Brian Johnson Treasurer: Dermot Preston Secretary: Pauline Ong Murray Nee Joyce Barclay Allan Jepson Louise Lyne Mike Corlett In accordance with the constitution, three trustees, Dermot Preston, Mike Corlett and Louise Lyne stepped down at the AGM of the Friends of Didsbury Park in March 2025. At the AGM Louise Lyne was elected by the members, Mike Corlett was not re-elected by the members, and Dermot Preston retired. An additional trustee, Greg Mauchline was appointed to the board in August 2025 as Treasurer. The following trustees held office from August 2025: Chair: Brian Johnson Treasurer: Greg Mauchline Secretary: Pauline Ong Murray Nee Joyce Barclay Allan Jepson Louise Lyne Friends of Didsbury Park Registered Charity Number 1179064 ## **Principal Activity:** The principal activity of the Friends of Didsbury Park is the maintenance and improvement of Didsbury Park. ## **Operations Report** : 2025 has been another successful year for the Friends of Didsbury Park. During the summer the volunteers exceeded the major milestone of completing over 50,000 hours of voluntary work since volunteering began in 2014. The Friends of Didsbury Park were again awarded the top gold award by the RHS as part of the Britain in Bloom competition and for the eighth year in a row, were also awarded the highest category “outstanding” in the RHS “It’s Your Neighbourhood” competition. During 2025 the Friends of Didsbury Park completed many successful projects to improve Didsbury Park for the local community.
