Structure, governance and management
The PTA is an unincorporated association governed by a constitution based on the Parentkind model constitution for England and Wales.
All members of the committee are the charity's trustees. Trustees are elected at the Annual General Meeting and hold office until the next AGM, with power to co-opt additional members; the committee meets at least three times each academic year.
Membership of the association is open to the parents, guardians and carers of pupils at the school, to school staff, and to others who wish to support the school and are accepted by the committee.
Objects and activities
Jubilee School PTA is a voluntary, parent-led registered charity dedicated to enriching and supporting the experience of children, parents and educators within the school. It promotes the social, emotional and educational development of children and encourages parent volunteering and community involvement. The PTA actively fundraises and supports school fundraising events.
The object of the association is to advance the education of the pupils at Jubilee Primary School, in particular by:

(a) developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; and

(b) engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
The PTA pursues these objects by running fundraising events and activities, and by funding facilities, equipment and activities at the school.
The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit when planning the charity's activities.
Achievements and performance
During the year the PTA raised funds through a programme of events including the Summer and Winter Fairs, a quiz night, a Readathon, an Eid party, and ice-lolly and pre-loved uniform sales, supported by regular giving, workplace (employer-matched) giving and easyfundraising.
The PTA provided £43,313 of funding to the school during the year, supporting the following projects:

The PTA's work depends on the generous, freely-given time of parents, carers and staff who volunteer to organise and run events throughout the year. The trustees are very grateful for these contributions, which are not reflected in the financial figures above.
Financial review
Total receipts for the year were £34,196 and total payments £46,655, giving a net outflow of £12,459, a planned use of reserves to complete spending on agreed school projects.
Cash funds carried forward at 1 September 2025 were £18,549, all unrestricted.
Reserves policy. It is the trustees' policy to hold a minimum of £5,000 in reserve, to be able to respond to emergencies or unexpected needs where the school may require the PTA's support. Unrestricted reserves at the year-end were £18,549. The surplus over the policy target reflects funds set aside to meet committed school-funding plans for the 2025/26 academic year.
The 2023/24 comparative figures have been re-presented on the same basis as the current year, analysing the actual amounts received into and paid out of the bank. The overall net position is unchanged from that originally reported; the analysis between categories differs.
Trustees' remuneration and expenses
No trustee received any remuneration or benefit during the year. Out-of-pocket expenses incurred by committee members in running PTA events (such as purchasing food and supplies) were reimbursed at cost and are included within event costs.

These accounts are prepared on a receipts and payments basis and presented in whole pounds, in accordance with the rounding guidan ("Round all amounts to the nearest £").
