2 Structurn, Govfrrnan¢o and M•nagement
The Charity is a Charitsble Incorporated Organisalion and on 29 June 2018 il was entered on the
Register ol Charities held by the Charities Commission IEngland and Wale51, registered number
1178996. 11 is governed by its Constitution which became effective on that date. New Trustees are
appointed by existing Trustees.
Tho Trusl8è8 have given consideration to the risks lo which the Charity is exposed and satisfied
themselves that systems or procedures are in place to manage those risks. Within that revi8w, th8
Trustees reviewed the adequacy of CUCT'S internal controls. Appropriate insurance Govef has been
purchased.
3 Trustee*, Responslbllltlei
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Tru$te&$' Report and Financial Ststemenls in accordance
with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted
Accounting Practice). The law applicab18 to charities in England and Wales requires the Trustees to
prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the 51ale of affairs of
the charity as al the balance sheet dale and of the incomin9 resources and application ol resources,
including the income and expenditure. for that year.
In preparing the financial slalemenls, the Trustees are required lo
select suitable accounting polici85 and apply them consistently.,
obseNe the method5 and principles in the Charities SORP.,
make judgements and eslimales that are reasonable and prudent.,
stale whether applicable accounting Standards have been followed, subject lo any departures di$¢losed
and explained in the financial Slalemenls., and
prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate lo presume that the
charity will continue in operation.
The trustees af8 r8sponsible for keeping proper a¢¢ounling records that disclose with reasonable accuracy
at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them lo ensure that the financial statements
omp5y with the Charities Act 2011, the Charities (Accounts and Reports} Regulations and the provisions of
its conslilub'on. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and for taking
reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

4 Objects and Activities
The objeel of the Charity is for the public benefit to advance education and le8rning anywhere in the
world, in particular, bul not limited to, among the people of the Holy Land irrespective ol their
religion, gender, ethnicity, age or sexual orientation. The Chanty may not aulhorise an application
of Its assets for purposes which are not charitable.
In particular, the Charity has power lo support Bethlehem University and all similar Insts'lutions with
which Bethlehem University has fomial and informal relationships for the benefit ol humanity. The
Charity has Bethlehem University as ils prime beneficiary.
The Trustees have cornplied with theif duty to have due regard to public benefi't guidance produced
by the Charity Commission.
Funds a￿ raised by donations from benefa¢lors.
S Achlevements and Perfoman¢¢
Donations dunng the year have been made by standing order, by bank transfer or chequè on
receipt of issues of 8ethlehem University News. There is close contact with several members of
staff at Bethlehem University.
6 Financlal Rovlew
During the year, donation5 of £66,160 12022.. £11,951) and gift aid of £1,417 {2022'. £1.5081 were
received. Donations of £66,256 12022.. £12,263) were made to Bethlehem Un1versity, After
expenses. there was a deficit of £Nil12022'. £Nill.
At the end of the year, the Charity had nel assets of £ Nil12022.' nel assets of £ Nlll
7 Ro8orves Pollcy
The Trustees will, In future years, build up ￿serVeS so that, al the end of any financial year, there are
sufficient reserves to carry out the proposed activities for the following year. Bethlehem University has
provided funds to allow the frustees to continue with the activities of the Charity without deducting the
running ¢D$ls from donation5 received.

Moorgate A¢countancy Limrted have agreed to continue as Independent Examiners to the Charity.

As the Iruslees of the Charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the financial ststements in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 I'the 2011 Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's financial statements carried out under section 145 of the
Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directs'ons given by the Charity
Commission under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act.

preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United
