Financial review
A reserve is held which the trustees consider sufficient to Gover any
project or event liabilrties should any such project or evenl failing to
generate sufficient income.
Regard has always been placed on the Christmas Sleigh event failing to
take pla￿ possibly due to extreme weather conditions or the possibility
of some other reason. This single eveni generates approxirnalely 40010 of
the club fundraising gross income. consequently a minimum reserve of
£10,000 is held, subject lo periodic review.

Equipment Expenditure
Historically the club has beneffted from use of a local resident's barn to
store our equipmenl. This year thal facilily has been withdrawn due to a
house move. We were unable to source another store area so purchased
a used shipping container. Total cost of the project including racking and
refurbishment was £1,987. This was deemed essential to stote the
equipment used in our fund-raising activities.
We were offered a used PA system in ex￿lIent working order. The club
elected to purchase this for £300. It is an essential piece of equipment for
outdoor events such as our car showslHalloween events. It will in futur&
save future costs in hiring such equipment, resulting in quick payback.
Both are included in equipment costs for this year.
This document shows that expenditure has directly supported a51 the
charities key obj'ectives,. the charity does not have an investment
portfolio. The club is in good slanding and remains in a strong financial
position which enables the chanty to continue providing support to those
in need.
