2

Since April 2020 global pandemic has continued and has further delayed our plans for in person fundraising events. However, we have taken the time to update our online presence and have established a new website to inform our supporters of some of our activities. In addition, a new UK office has been established and renewed on an annual basis.

We agreed to support a further project in conjunction with our partner NGO in Italy. The Dar Al Majus (or House of the Three Kings) aims to create a sustainable center for vocational training, social support and cultural awareness.

The House will benefit the local community and will directly impact more than 600 vulnerable community members (youth, women, mothers, children) per year by providing vocational training, employment, and entrepreneurship support, and/or psycho-social support, including music therapy sessions and referral services.

This House will be a cultural center where all visitors will be welcome to find their connection to Bethlehem’s culture and history. Tourists and Pilgrims alike, who visit the nearby Church of the Nativity will be invited to one of the many events that promote dialogue, art, culture, and business. The first grant will be made to support the installation of a lift ensuring accessibility for all.

In December we hosted a series of live virtual events to celebrate the festive period of the Nativity and share updates on the activities in the local area of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. This has seen a good level of interaction which has continued into 2021. We have been able to capitalise on this with increased online presence and have seen a large increase in donations which will allow us to make the first grant award in Q3 2021.

Financial Review

Although we are now another year into our planned activities, the pandemic has curtailed much of the activity and fundraising has been limited up the the FYE. We still were able to attract a small number of new donors and have seen a marked uptick since the start of 2021.

Costs are kept to a minimum, with a small amount being spent on office and phone rental.

**Incomings ** **Outgoings **
£1,119.32 £233.60

As at FYE 2020 - No grants have been made, but plans are underway to make the first grant payment in Q3 2021 as we have been able to establish a pipeline of donations making this possible. Details will be included in the next annual report.

Plans for the future.

3

The plan for 2020/21 is to continue to build the online presence and raise the profile of the charity in the UK. The Trustees continue to work together to build a network for Pro Terra Sancta and would like to support additional projects in the area of benefit,

The most immediate plan is to host a fundraising event when the pandemic allow and to create virtual and in person tours to showcase the projects we are supporting.

We also aim to build on our network of ambassadors to assist with the fundraising effort.
