Having had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on Public Benefit.

All trustees have had the opportunity to read the guidance document.

Trustee Meetings are incorporated into the end of Club Business meetings and are also held separately for specific purposes.

The club has carried out the following activities this year in respect of the objects of the club.

The Covid pandemic still continued to affect this years events as people were still reserved about mixing with lots of people. But in spite of this we carried on and started to organise events that could be carried out or not as the case maybe.

We held a small gala of a dozen or so stalls of local charities which allowed for them to get to see people out and about.

The Club was able to provide Santa on his sleigh for the Town’s Light Switch-on and then had a stall on the Christmas Market. Santa went on tour over 5 nights with the help of our friends from Rotary. As well as raising money this gives many local people (children especially) a lot of pleasure seeing Santa on his decorated sleigh. One static Santa fund-raising events were held at local supermarket.

In April March Town held a town wide St Georges Day Event. March Lions held a low cost Bacon Sandwich stall selling them for a small cost to the town.

In June along with the March Summer Festival, March Lions held their annual March Gala on the Saturday of the Festival. Allowing for many local businesses and charities to have access to a wide amount of people and publicise what it is they are doing.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Reviewerfs Report To the Treasurer of Lions Clubs International Distrirt 105CE I report on the accounts of the Club for the year ended 30 June 2022 which are set out on pages I to The financial statements are the responsibility of the officers. It is my responsibility to form an independent opinion. based on my review, on those statements and to report my opinion to you. A review consists primarily of obtaining and understanding the process involved in the preparation of the financial statements, applying analytical procedure5 to financial data and making enquiries of persons responsible for financial and accounting matters. A review provides less assurance than an audit carried out in accordance with auditing standards and, therefore, we do no express and audit opinion. Based on my review, nothing has come to my attention that causes me to believe that the financial statements do not give a true and fair review of the Club's state of affairs at 30 June 2021 and of its income and expenditure for the year ended. Signed................

March Lions Club Financial Statement for the year ended 30 June 2022 We confirm that the accounts have been reviewed and we are in agreement that the statements are correct and ¢an be entered into the club's records and a copy submitted to the District Treasurer.
