## Annual Report for 

## Attleborough 2013 Lions club 

It has been lovely to be back doing what we love as a club and going out and meeting people as well as raising money for charity. 

This year we have been out and about with our popular chocolate tombola as well as general tombola’s and one of the favourites with the children our lucky cards stall. The local community have been very supportive and have helped us raise for money for people who need it. The local Christmas carnival was very busy after 2 years of it not happening and our Christmas hampers went down very well with our raffle winners. We renewed our small lotteries licence in order to be able to run our raffles. 

We had the pleasure of meeting the amazing volunteers who run the local food bank who were extremely grateful for the 2 carloads of food and drinks we donated, and we look forward to being able to support them again in the future. 

As a club we not only raise money but donate our time to help those in need whether that is knitting for the local hospital or elderly peoples homes to supporting people with their gardening or simply spending time talking those who want a chat.
