These included:-<br>1.<br>A Commonwealth Games arts<br>festival held at Edgbaston Reservoir<br>during which B-Row ran taster<br>sessions for local people who didn’t<br>have access to the Commonwealth<br>games events. Adults and children<br>tried rowing on the water and on<br>rowing ergometers.<br>2.<br>Rowing taster and learn to row<br>courses for adults and juniors from<br>the local area around Edgbaston<br>Reservoir which was linked to<br>continuing participation opportunity.<br>3.<br>In the spring of 2023 B-Row<br>delivered rowing sessions as part of<br>the post Games legacy programme.<br>Sport Birmingham ran the<br>Birmingham Schools Games at<br>Alexander Stadium, the athletics<br>venue for the Commonwealth<br>games in 2022.<br>In August 2022 B-Row ran the annual<br>series of summer holiday rowing courses|





|||for juniors in Birmingham and the<br>surrounding area.<br>Young people who have been introduced to<br>water sports in previous years and had<br>continued to participate have helped with<br>the delivery of some of these sessions and<br>have started to develop coaching skills;<br>technical, communication, planning and<br>leadership.<br>The activities delivered are generally<br>subsidised by grant aid from third parties<br>and the partner organisations helping to<br>facilitate group participation.|
