Summary of th8 objects of the

The memtEr5 of Don13Ster Lions Club are committed to serving their

The restrtctions imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic throughout the
year have had a tnajor impact on the Ser￿￿S the Club has been abSe to
provide to the needy- It also severely limited the Club's abiltty to raise
funds and so whaf suptth and assistan￿ it has been able to provide
took ac￿Unt of the Club's financial stbjation. Some of the activities arld
Servi￿ undertaken by the dub and i(s members are outlined below:
Advancement of Cttizenshlp: The dub and tts members strtve to form
as many links as possible vrilh voluntary, community and faith groups
across the parts of Don(xster in which the Club con￿ntrate$ most of tts
activtbes. We have been able to work, remotely, wtth faith, children and
yOLrth groups, and a (x)mmunty library to en(x)urage and support local
people in their efforts to better their town and themselves. Donations
have been made to lo(xl youth groups and the arny ￿dets in support of
this objective.
Promoting Volunteering- All our Club's members are volunteers and
make (lonations to LCI to cover the Clubs administration costs and
charges for ￿TrtraIty promded services to help us carry OLrt our activities
(e.g. insurance, training, legal advi￿, etc). It is a tenet of Lions, and of
our Club, that every penny we raise from the public at large should be
used to help support our Servi￿ adivities, We work hard to promote
volunteering. not just with the Ltons, but with other community groups so
that we c2n maximise the public benefft. Promoting volunteering is
essential to our wellbeing and to achieve the maximum public benefft.
Unfortunately, the Covid 19 restridions have IiTlltted our opportunities to
work wilh other vduntary groupsfvolunteer5 this year.
Summary of the main
activities undertaken for the
public benefit in relation to
these objects (include within
this section the statutory
