Achievements and Perforniance SORP thn¢¢ During the reporting peri¢xl 50 retired greyhounds have been homed through the charity. This is down on last reporting period mainly due to the cost of living ¢risis and there being so many dogs and so few homes. We give guidan￿ and support to all adopters as and when they need it. We currently have 30 greyhounds in our care and this is the average at any one time. We are a chosen charity of Pets at Home Consett store and ￿Ceive quarterly vouchers. We receive monthly commis8ion from our insurance partner, Agria Insuran￿, should our adopters tske out a full policy after their 5 weeks free insurance has expired. We are an approved homing centre for the Greyhound Board of Great Britain. This entitles us to a bond payment of £400 for èvery dog take in under the Scheme and this is our main single sour of income at present. In February 2025 the bond was increased to £420 per dog. ere the bond hasn't been fully paid to the GBGB by the ownerArainer we have made an outlay but we get this retumed in the £400. Over this reporting period our bond outlay has reducad dramatically as most bonds should now be covered by the ownerltrainers. We pay monthly for 15 kennel spaces rather than number of dogs. This has reduced our kennel bill and made it the sam8 fe8 every month which helps with our budgeting. We have a website and have 4107 followers on our farRbook page and 653 followers on Instagram. During this accounting period VR received our first Grft Aid reimbursement of £1426 which covered May 2023-April 2024 walks and a few ado tions. Summary ofthe main achievements of the charty, identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the cirGumstances of its beneficiaries and any WKler benefits to society as a whole.
