**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF MUSIC IN JAZZ AND SIMILAR GENRE BY:(I) THE PRESENTATION OF HIGH QUALITY ARTIST’S WORK IN THE CITY OF LEEDS AND FARTHER AFIELD IF NECESSARY;(II) ENGAGING INDIVIDUALS THROUGH MUSIC IN ORDER TO DEVELOP THEIR INTERESTS, SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES, AND THEREBY PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, WELL-BEING AND PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY COHESION.(III) SUCH OTHER MEANS AT THE TRUSTEES DISCRETION

**Activities:** Our programme includes the Leeds Jazz Festival and the Jazz events in Chapel Allerton Arts Festival, evening and Sunday afternoon concerts with international, national and regional jazz artists, jazz workshops for schools and people who want to learn to play jazz, Jazz Voices choir where people learn vocal techniques and improvisation, jazz cafe jam sessions where we encourage people to join in.
