Section C Ob"ectives and activities The object of the CIO is the advancement of amateur sport and the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Dartmouth, the surrounding district and their visitors by the provision of a public slipway into the river Dart. Devon County Council. South Hams District Council. Dartmouth Town Council. Dart Harbour Aulhorily. the Royal National Lifeboat Inslilution, South Devon and Channel Shellfishermen Ltd and local amateur sport clubs. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the eharlty during the year The Trusl is actively pursuing the Detailed Planning Application lor the proposed Public Slipway submitted to South Hams District Council in September 2023. It has to over¢xJme objections to our Compensatory Habitat proposals from both the Environmental Agency and Natural England.
