## Structure, Governance and management

The Association is governed by the constitution (available on request from Secretary Terry Woolcock). Trustees of the charity are also the committee members of the association who make all the operational decisions in the running of the association. The association is made up of three bowls clubs, The Men’s club, the Ladies Club and the pensioners club. The committee is constituted with two representatives of each club plus the officers. Each club has its own running committee and elect those representatives to serve on the committee of the association.

## Objectives and Aims

The Dyfed Road Bowls Association is set up to provide a facility to enable members of the public to enjoy a healthy sporting activity. There are three teams which are part of the association: The men’s team, the lady’s team and the pensioners team. We encourage all members of the public to enrol in one of the three teams to enjoy this healthy activity. We hold open days, coffee mornings and other social events to encourage new members. We have set up contacts with local sports facilities, schools, mental health charities and local care homes to promote participation in the sport.

## Activities undertaken 2020 to 2021

Because of COVID restrictions the activities of the association were limited to general upkeep of the grounds

## Financial Statement

The Association is mainly funded by subscriptions and membership fees from the three bowling clubs. Other income is generated from the sale of refreshments and proceeds from coffee. In addition we received a COVID grant from the council of £10,000 and a grant from the Coal fields of £7000.
